Tags Delete

lindris tags delete

Delete a tag

Synopsis

DELETE /api/tags/{id}. The backend cascade-detaches the tag from every subscriber first — no subscriber data is removed. A 404 is returned for an unknown tag.

Asks for confirmation unless --yes is passed. When stdin is not an interactive terminal (scripts, MCP), --yes is required — the command refuses to delete rather than block on a prompt nobody can answer. Deleting a tag is not reversible: re-creating it by name does not restore the subscriber associations the cascade removed.

bash
lindris tags delete <id> [flags]

Examples

bash
$ lindris tags delete 1
$ lindris tags delete 1 --yes

Options

  • --yes - Skip the confirmation prompt (required when stdin is not a terminal)
