Codex

Install the Lindris plugin into Codex and it drives the lindris CLI for you — see what the skill covers for what it teaches the agent.

Codex has its own plugin manager and its own manifest format, so the published package ships a .codex-plugin/plugin.json alongside the Claude one. Both point at the same skill, so you get the same behavior either side.

Install

bash
lindris agents install codex

That registers a Lindris marketplace and installs the plugin, which means Codex owns updates from then on. Verify with codex plugin list.

This route needs the npm CLI on your PATH. That's Codex's requirement, not ours: it fetches npm-published plugins with npm itself. If you don't have Node installed, use the bare skill below instead.

Finish with lindris auth login to store an API key (see Authentication).

Without a plugin: the bare skill

If you'd rather not go through the plugin manager — or you don't have npm — install the skill directory on its own:

bash
lindris agents install codex --skill-only # ~/.agents/skills, all projects
lindris agents install codex --skill-only --scope project # .agents/skills, committed to the repo

Codex finds bare skills in ~/.agents/skills for your user, and by walking up from the current directory to the repo root looking for .agents/skills for a single project. Project scope is the one to commit when you want everyone on a repo to get the skill.

The trade-off is upgrades: a bare skill isn't managed by anything, so refreshing it means re-running the install with --force. The plugin route's update is to re-run lindris agents install codex — re-adding picks up the latest published version.

Either way the skill triggers the way it does in Claude — automatically, from its description — or invoke it explicitly with $using-lindris-cli.

Updating

Plugin install — re-run the installer; re-adding replaces the version-keyed cache entry with the latest published version. (codex plugin marketplace upgrade only works on git-sourced marketplaces, not the local-path one agents install creates.)

bash
lindris agents install codex

Bare skill:

bash
lindris agents install codex --skill-only --force
